INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION AT H.R.MAHAVIDYALAYA

RAJGURUNAGAR: 16th August 2023

Independence Day is celebrated in Hutatma Rajguru Mahavidyalaya with pomp and glory as in the past. A large gathering of the students attended the program with smiling faces in fresh and white dresses. All students assembled on the ground at 7:30 a.m. The whole surrounding was full of enthusiasm. At 7:45 all the classes stood in front of dias for the flag hoisting ceremony. The drums began to beat as the chief guest our former principal Mr. Bagade arrived. He was welcomed by our principal Mr.G.A.Joshi and Registrar Mr.S.D.Parlikar.

At 8:00 a.m.sharp the chief guest pulled the string and hoisted our national flag, all students raised their hands with an order to salute the flag and started to sing our national anthem. Thereafter the cadets of N.C.C. started marching in front of the dais, then the chief guest addressed the student emphasizing building a career and character and building our nation. While reminding the great sacrifice of patriots he also inspired the students for noble sacrifice for our motherland.

At 10.00 a.m. some adventurous shows of paramilitary training at NCC were performed which screwed up the attention of the audience. Then a variety of programs like group dance, group songs showing national integrity were performed. In the end ‘Vande Mataram’ was sung and the ceremony came to an end with the distribution of sweets.
