Explain:  Explain the remark he sat there like he was "king of the jungle".

Ans- The young leopard fought to the old leopard because he wanted to take the place of the old leopard. In that fight the young leopard won, but he was injured badly , blood was dripping from a gash across his face. As there was no one to challenge him,  he sat there like he was "king of the jungle".

A4. Personal response:(2)

Give your views about the wild animals.

Ans- Wild animals are now in a threat/ bad in condition. Animals in the wild suffer terribly due to a number of causes,such as hunger& thirst , weather conditions, harms inflicted by other animals, diseases, injured etc. Most of the animals are on the verge of extinction they must be care and protected they should be given proper environment wild animal sanctuary helps to give a secure and favourable life to the animals.

A5. Language Study: (2)

i. Unfortunately, the sun was setting and we had to leave. (Rewrite using 'because') 

Ans- Unfortunately , we had to leave because the sun was setting.

ii. He only had three canines.(Identify the Tense)

Ans- Simple Past Tense.
