Answer:-

i. When the mountainous reach at camp nine, they were in no mood for any talking. 

ii. They just attended to their own things. 

iii. They booked some snow water to make lemon water and drank it. 

iv. They left the place only carrying their sleeping bags. 

A3. Interpretation: 

Tenzing drank the kerosene smelled tea. Guess its reason.

Ans- 

i. Tenzing drank the kerosene Smelked because Noyce bought the tea taking so much trouble and efforts. 

ii. He wanted to keep respect of the unconditional love of Noyce. 

iii. He knows his feelings towards them.

Ans- The list of things that a mountain needs during climbing expedition is as follows-

Rope- It helps the mountaineer climb safely and prevents falling.

Ice axe

It helps in climbing icy slopes and provides support and balance.

Water bottle

It provides water to prevent dehydration during climbing.

Tumbler

It is useful for drinking water and other liquids.

Sleeping bag

It keeps the mountaineer warm and comfortable while resting in cold conditions.

String

It can be used for tying, securing equipment, and other emergency purposes.

Oxygen cylinder

It provides oxygen when climbing at very high altitudes where oxygen is limited.

Food packets

They provide energy and nutrition during the expedition.

Medicines/First-aid kit

They help treat injuries, illness, and other emergencies.
