Is anybody happier because….. of the work you did today?

A.1 . Find out the lines that show ‘how do you treat a friend in a crowded area.’

Ans- Did you give a cheerful greeting to the friend who came along?

Or a churlish sort of “Howdy” and then vanish in the throng?

A.2 Explain the line- “You have earned one more tomorrow by the work you did today?”

Ans-i. This line indicates that at the end of the day, we should know in our hearts that we have made a difference in someone else’s life by helping them out or by just making them happy.

ii. Our good deeds or actions make us happy in our life.

iii. Through our deeds or actions, we make our karma strong.

iv. The speaker (the poet) asks questions to readers that at the end of the day, you should introspect yourself and try to improve yourself.

A.3 Give your ways to develop good social relationships with others.

Ans- I. Meeting strangers is a little bit difficult for me but I take initiative and try to make conversation with them.

ii. If the conversation goes smoothly then we can exchange our knowledge and ideas.

iii. If the conversation goes good enough then we could have a friend at the end of the day and feel good about it

iv. If I'm unsure about that person then I'll simply avoid it and move on to the next.

v. ‘Unknown to known or known to unknown journey’ always gives me immense pleasure.

A.4 Find out the figure of speech in the following line-

"That you helped a single brother of the many that you passed?"

Ans- Interrogation- Here, a question is asked in order to create a dramatic effect and not to get an answer.

Synecdoche – The word ‘brother’ represents all fellow human beings.

A.5. Add your two poetic lines to rhyme with the given line.

As you close your eyes in slumber do you think that God would say,

Ans -

I think God would say what do you earn today,

Enjoying our knowing-to-unknowing journey gives me good vibes per day
